The Karroon are a council of 9 Yettish monks of the Keld who rule over the entire monastic order, and oversee its daily operations. It is lead, in turn, by a Headmaster who oversees the daily administrations of the council, and the Keld as a whole, but is not counted among the 9 members of the council.
