Emperor Kildron is the leader of the entire Ahbranai race, and ruler of all of the houses within the empire. However, his is not the most powerful house, as he is the third most powerful house, behind House Monty and House Carin, but still rules the empire regardless as he does so with the blessings of the greater houses, although his relationship with them is tenuous at best, and both would like nothing better than to see him and his house gone. However, they leave him in place as he brings stability to the houses, and in turn helps them avoid dealing with other, more difficult issues.
