Dr. Olm is a senior scientist in the Society Science Corps, and Dr. Corbin's right hand man at the beginning of The Earthfleet Saga. However, as time goes along, and with the introduction of Dr. Rasmussen to the Corps, Corbin has a falling out with the Society, and is eventually replaced, with Dr. Olm taking over, and Dr. Rasmussen becoming his right hand man. The Doctor also has a twin brother known in the story as Captain Henry Olm who is a spitting image of his brother.
