The '''Akurakim''' are a race of "battling monks" that are part of the [[Yettish]] Keld order.  They were born many centuries ago in response to a need for warriors that, at the time was both frowned upon, giving the peaceful nature of the Keld, and also welcome, as their fighting prowess did much to help, and aid the Keld in protecting their own people.  Only after they were defamed, and falsely accused of crimes they didn't commit did the Akurakim go underground, hiding their continued existing, much as the [[Nyuishan]]s did, in order to protect their people.

The Akurakim are a race of "battling monks" that are part of the Keld order. They were born many centuries ago in response to a need for warriors that, at the time was both frowned upon, giving the peaceful nature of the Keld, and also welcome, as their fighting prowess did much to help, and aid the Keld in protecting their own people. Only after they were defamed, and falsely accused of crimes they didn't commit did the Akurakim go underground, hiding their continued existing, much as the Nyuishians did, in order to protect their people.
