Krull

The Krull are a collective, hive minded insectoid race, who work as a single unit, and are controlled by a queen, who look and act like locusts, and harvest the galaxy for resources, food, and more. However, the Krull are very secretive, and few know of their existence, or their true abilities, save only for the Yandians, and even they have limited information due to the elusive nature of this species. Typically the Krull won't attack other sentient species, or any lifeform that appears to be superior to them, choosing instead of harvest worlds that contain sentient life, nor will they ever harvest those worlds in their entirety, preferring instead to only take what benefits them, and leave behind what may benefit the planet in return to continue its ability to grow, prosper, and provide the needs of the Krull in their due time. Being elusive and reclusive, the Krull will also avoid contact with any sentient species if they believe that they may pose a risk to their existence, even if they have to give up much needed food and resources in the process.
