Lars Nordic

Lars Nordic is a spy, and an expert one at that, who serves in both Fleet Intelligence and the SIC. He, along with his partner Vladimir Umnov, are among the best spies in all of Sol Space, and as such they are almost always given the difficult missions by their boss knowing that, no matter how tough it gets, they will always come through. Lars is a top notch spy, and literally the best in the business. However, he has a bit of a dislike of his boss who he feels doesn't play by the rules as he should, and even sometimes gets in the way of his missions.

Lars eventually, through the years, gets promoted to director of the SIC, and replaces his former boss in that job. However, after losing his partner, Vlad, during an away mission to take down The Haven during the events of Empire Rising he becomes a changed man, and very determined to make sure that, not just Earth, but the entire galaxy is kept safe one way or another, in honor of his best friend, and former partner. After Vlad's death, much to the chagrin of his boss, does not take on another full time partner but instead prefers to operate alone, only taking along other agents when the mission requires it. Otherwise he prefers to operate alone.
