The Reception Center is a tall, dark, somewhat intimidating structure located at the very beginning of the race and receives all new participants who have been recently abducted from Earth and brought to the planet of Offworld. At this location they are given their implants, their starter supplies, instruction book, and other necessities, and then sent out the door to begin their journey. The center is run by the controllers who run the race, and is the first thing that all new participants see upon arriving.
