A Youngling is any immature or infant dragon that has not passed Keltess, and become a full fledged adult dragon. This timeframe can range anywhere from hatching all the way up to roughly the age of 180 years old. Also, while younglings typically do not serve in a military or fighting roll, there are some exceptionally talented younglings, usually above the age of 120, who do serve within the dragon orders as battlefield medics, Nurse Dragons, techops, or other similar support rolls. This is because a dragon is typically not allowed to join the fighting ranks until after they become an adult. That does not preclude them from training with a fighting unit, or being mentored by them. However, they are not considered a full fledged fighting dragon until after Keltess, and thus are not allowed to become a fighting dragon until then.
