Rinks are a small, copper ring, dating back from royal times when the game was first invented, and are a means of scoring in Gobat, with the team having collected the most rinks being declared the winner. Teams start with 5 rinks each, and can either earn or lose them based on not just whether or not a team scores, but also on how they perform on the field, with good sportsmanship, surprise plays, success in difficult or impossible situations, and more.
