The Clement Valley is a large, open flatland deep in the White Mountains that houses a vast and expansive agrarian citizenry whose primary occupation is farming. Although there are some other occupations within the valley, such as blacksmithing, wheelrighting, doctors, clergy, and others, the primary occupation is farming. The crops that are grown here vary widely and can include everything from traditional grain and cereal crops to vegetables, dairy, cattle, horses, sheep (the Offworld equivalent, that is), chickens, and other animals as well. As there is on incorporated community, town center, or other public infrastructure, anytime a need arises, the citizens of the valley share the responsibilities of handling those issues. This includes hosting church services, dealing with criminals, putting out fires, adjudicating disputes, and so on. THe valley itself is surrounded by a ring of low slung hills on all sides, with only one major way in or out of the valley, which is the primary trail of the controllers.

The valley also, while self supporting, does regular business with the outside world, selling and trading with surrounding communities for goods and services that they can't readily get within the Clement Valley. This also provides a suitable outlet for all their produces and the many products that they produce, and helps fuel and feed the local economy sufficiently enough to maintain it. However, despite the vast size of the valley, and the significant quantities of produce it generates, only a few hundred people live and work in Clement year round. Although, during planting and harvesting season, the valley is known to swell to well over six to eight hundred people as temporary workers flood into the valley looking for temporary employment, most of whom are paid in food, which they then set back for winter, or summer respectively.
