Craven Lucius is a Chief Petty Officer aboard the free merchant (and formerly pirate) clipper ship, the Flying Coachman. He is a very wise, educated, and elegant man, a tea-totaler, and an expert merchant. He is also the chief clerk and boatswain's mate aboard the Flying Coachman. While he is an older man, one who is quickly drawing close to retirement, he gladly serves his captain, James Remiru and follows him wherever he goes.
