Bartholomew Wickham

Bartholemew Wickam is a very rich farm owner in the Clement Valley, as well as a haughty, self righteous man who very firmly fits the roll of the Publican (see Luke 18:9-12 for reference) and is a thorn in the side of everyone in the valley. He also holds a bitter hatred for anyone he sees as a "Sinner", with his greatest anger and hatred directed at Abby Delt. His actions and desire to destroy Abby at all costs, however, eventually brings him to the attention of The Wolves of Ratinar, who eventually exterminate him and his employees during a hate filled rampage by Bart and his men, as they struck out from their farm in an effort to destroy Simon's team, Abby, and anyone else he considered Sinners worthy of death. Afterwards his now abandoned farm is ransacked, stripped, then burned to the ground by some residents of the Clement Valley as retribution for all he'd done to them over the years.
