Dr. Daystar is an Ahbranai cybernetics scientist and secret member of the rebellion against the Ahbranai and the Commonwealth, of whom Psial and Yazik are also members. When he first receives Breakman and the other droids that came with them from the future, he merely sees them as curious novelties. But over time he learns of their mission from Meshua to save the past, and the future, and goes to great risk to help them to not only escape, but to bring themselves up to speed on the era they are in before heading out on their separate assignments.
