Galactic Standard

Galactic Standard is a common, universal language used by all races within the galaxy to facilitate and ease communication between races. It was set down and established by the UGW several millennia earlier during its infancy to make the new, yet shaky peace between the races of the galaxy, and especially The Nine Ancient Races, more stable and thus enduring. It takes the best of all the major languages in the galaxy, and blends them together in a way that's beneficial for all. Nearly every person in the galaxy knows how to read, write and speak Galactic Standard, as it's taught from an early age to prepare young children for the riggers of living in a galactic community.
