Miguigua

Miguigua was a Polynesian islander from around the middle 1600's who was one among thousands of islanders from Polynesia who were kidnapped by the Ichigwa, and taken to a planet named Denurn deep within their republic space that was filled with other species from all over the galaxy who were of similar biology, or from similar biospheres (ie, Earth like worlds), and studied extensively by them. However, Miguigua was not a normal young man, and he proved early on to be a problem for the Ichigwa as his curiosity got him in trouble with his captors. He also became a legend of mythology among his people, and was one of the guiding lights that eventually led to the day when the islanders were able to free themselves from their Ichigwan captors.
