A Racer is anyone who is a 1st generation participant in The Race of Offworld, and was brought to the planet specifically by the controllers. All racers are equipped with a Wetjack Rig which offers them unique and necessary technological enhancements to allow them to participate in the race. These are also similar to Free Agents, but with the added perk that they still retain permission to win the race, whereas Free Agents do not.
