Rem'kal

The Rem'kal is a class of light, Warp Drive powered battleships built and operated by the Serians. While they are large and imposing, Serian battleships are not known for either their speed, or maneuverability, choosing instead to rely on their armor and firepower to win the fight, rather than outmaneuvering, or outrunning the enemy. Even then they are somewhat substandard in their quality and ability, easily able to be beaten in an one on one fight with a standard sized Gayik'Von destroyer. The technology they use is also somewhat antiquated as well, being several generations or more behind the current technological curve. The Serians have tried many times to upgrade their ships, or even replace them, with newer, faster, more up to date models. However, due to the rather dubious nature of the Serians, nobody is willing to sell any military hardware to them, save only pirates and the mafia, and even then they only ever sell them older, obsolete technology for many of the same reasons. This starship is often complimented in battle groups with the Serian Miagaoh class destroyers.
