Section 9 is a counter Syndicate group working inside of the organization and on the planet of Offworld in an effort to thwart the Alien Brotherhood and allow someone to win the race, or really just anyone, so that all those trapped on the planet can go home. Originally formed from an identically named group within the CIA, lead by Jack Lundy, they work tirelessly with The Dragons of Offworld, members of Section 17 and a number of others, all of whom seek the same ends. Namely, the freedom of all who are trapped on Offworld.
