The Reaping Sea

The Reaping Sea is a large body of fresh water, about the size of Lake Michigan, situated in the middle of the racing trail, which is a major waterway for trade and commerce in the area, including the many large rivers that feed it. The lake is a very tempestuous and temperamental body of water, having earned its title from its long and storied history of raising up powerful Sea Storms out of nowhere that quickly engulf any ships caught in them by choice or by accident, and either sink or heavily damage them. The lake is also known as a means that the controllers sometimes use to cull out anyone that they want to get rid of, and as such it is greatly feared. Only the bravest and most adventurous cross its waters. It is bordered by many other cities and villages, as well as the Sheffield Republic and the Thorn Confederacy.
