History
When Trevor first arrives on Offworld he meets Simon, of which they have an initially rocky relationshipBut in time he eventually gets saved, after which he quickly grows up, mellows out and matures under Simon's watchful careAs the two travel together, Simon begins to teach him the ways of woodsmanship, including how to trap trovets and other local wildlife for food.  He even learns how to start camp fires, although he does very poorly with this, and as such his interest in it quickly fades, which will come back to bite him later onFurther down the trail he meets, and then falls in love with a beautiful young woman named Aria, who also becomes part of Simon's team.  He eventually becomes the team's muscle, along with Birash, Alex and YurgBut, when he's not being the teams strong man, he's Simon's right hand man and helper, as well as student, learning all he can from his mentor and adopted father, as Trevor sees Simon as the father he never had, much as Aria does as well.

After a journey across a large, wide open prairie, they come across a herd of stagnatier, which they stop briefly to harvest, before heading out againIn the process of taking one of the first ones, though, Trevor gets a little too excited about Simon's recent downing of a buck and decides to mount it like a trophy bull, only to end up receiving the ride of his life, which he actually enjoys, despite being terrified out of his mind by the experienceFurther down the trail, after the prairie, they're attacked by bandits and Aria is taken captive while Simon and Trevor are knocked out during the battleThey're then rescued by Alex, who then helps Simon and Trevor save Aria from the local bandits of the 1st hextant, which are ruled by Orbus, the bandit king.  In doing so, they gain two new members to the team in the form of Birash and Yurg, the latter of whom is enemies with Birash, but agrees to a truce until his life debt can be paid.

Trevor is also ridiculously rich, having hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash stashed in six total dufflebags, one in his car, and the rest which are scattered across the city.  He has no money in the bank, and no credit cards, as it makes it too easy to trace him that way.  So, aside from a phone, he is completely off grid, and virtually untraceable.  And that's important in his line of work, because he doesn't want his enemies finding him, while at the same time allowing his customers to easily reach him whenever they need his services.  Someone could probably still find him if they really wanted to.  But typically it's too much work for them to bother doing it.  So they will typically just leave him alone as it's too much trouble.  Back home on Earth, Trevor owns a 2014 Corvette Z06, which was his daily driver and "getaway" car whenever he needed the speed to escape.

He also briefly takes over as leader of the group when Simon is laid out for several weeks due to the injuries he receives from the Queen of Venodor.  During the course of the journey Simon teaches Trevor how to survive in the wild, including the skills of Pathfinding and Wayfinding, although, being from the city, he struggles with these during much of his time on Offworld.  But he's always willing to learn.  He even teaches others, and helps Birash learn how to read and write English.  Later on, when the team receives a gift of horses, he takes the youngest of the horses as his own, a young mare that he names Spirit.  Also, while he's a very strong individual, Trevor has a fear of losing what he's worked so hard to gain, including Aria.  He worries about her the most.  And, while this causes some issues at the beginning, it makes their relationship even stronger, as he cherishes her very deeply because of this.

Trevor Thompson is a street smart punk kid from the South Side of Chicago. He's 18 and has been on his own on the streets since he was 12, acting as a very skilled middle man for hire (an arranger) and an occasional enforcer since not long after his parents threw him out. He specialized in arranging and overseeing exchanges, transfers and sales of goods and contraband between mafia families, businesses, and even individuals. He later becomes Simon's adopted son (not official, just in spirit) and a very important part of his time.

History

Trevor grew up in the South Side of Chicago in an extremely poor family of seven. At age twelve his parents, being unable to take care of him anymore, and feeling him old enough to fend for himself, kicked him out of the house and onto the street. Once there he discovered that he was good at arranging and overseeing exchanges, transfers and the sale of goods and contraband between gangs, mafia families, businesses, and even individuals. Some of the things he traded were legal. But the majority of it was not, such as guns, drugs, hookers, sex slaves, stolen goods and much more. He worked with local individuals, such as his friend Kepo to help make his business successful. He even worked as an enforcer several times, and is known to have hurt lots of individuals during his time doing this. His unique style of enforcing allowed him to go up against guys up to twice his age and easily hold his own, despite his comparatively smaller size and thin build. He's also extremely good with knives, especially throwing them, and is a crack shot with them. He has the honor of being of genius intelligence, which he's used on many occasions, and even helped save his life on countless occasions, with him using it to outsmart his enemies. This also worked to his advantage, allowing him to complete his GED by the time he was fourteen, despite having been thrown out of his house two years earlier. This is when he also picked up his love for cartography and maps, becoming a decently skilled map maker in his own right by the time he was eighteen.

Out on the streets, when working as an arranger, he often took jobs from people all over the city who were in search of hard to find items, of which he almost always delivered. Two of his most famous customers were the Mayor of Chicago, and the city Chief of Police. The Major primarily requested drugs, prostitutes and other illicit items. The chief, however, had more benign interests, and often sent Trevor searching out rare 18th century porcelain figurines, as the chief had a real interest in, and keen eye for them. Some of his other customers, those that weren't looking for illegal and illicit items, often hired him to find things such as cars of a specific make and model, or even perhaps of a certain ownership, of which he almost always delivered. He was also good at negotiating between rival gangs and other groups such that he could take impossible business deals between bitter rivals and not only make them happen, but also make them quite lucrative. In fact, his reputation as an arranger was so high, nearly everyone in Chicago who knew of him and his skills left him alone. And those that didn't, they often had to answer to those who did, as Trevor's customers didn't want anything happening to him, especially given how lucrative of an asset he was to them. Even the police tended to leave him alone, although a few still tried to make a name for themselves by capturing him. But that rarely ever went well for them.

Acquisitions

Trevor begins his journey by picking up an MP3 player filled with songs at Node Zero. He later picks up a poncho, and a small hand held gaming device. Not long after this both the mp3 player and the gaming device run out of power. However, he has no credits to have them recharged. So, in an act of civil disobedience, he disposes of them in the forest, never to be seen again. Later on he picks up a mess kit to make eating meals easier.

Post Offworld

After the events of Offworld, Trevor returns to Earth at the exact moment he left, and finds himself in Chicago in Kepo's house from which he is led by God to reunite with Ariana Peterson, who he eventually marries, a year and a half later, after taking great care to ensure that his past life would not threaten either Aria, or their life together. Once they are reunited, they flee the city and go to Simon's home in Michigan where he becomes Simon's adopted son. Although, not on paper, as he doesn't want to risk his enemies discovering his whereabouts.

So it's an adoption of sons before God and men, but not before the courts. As an interesting aside, shortly after arriving at Simon's place, him and Aria take up farming as a hobby at first, but latter a break even business, as Trevor goes all in to expand Simon's little hobby farm, and grow it quite a bit. Unbeknownst to them, this is God's leading, as He is preparing Trevor to become a father, and provide for his family through the honest work of running a farm. And, almost exactly a year after they got married, Aria gets pregnant with their first child, which is born the next year, and named Elizabeth Thompson.

During this time in which she's pregnant, Trevor, through the advise of Simon, pursues a job in cartography and map making, which he loves to do, but does so with an online map making company whose employees all work remotely. He likes this because, this way he can stay home near his wife to help her as needed, and he doesn't have to be out in public where he might risk being identified by an old client, thus exposing his whereabouts to his enemies. However, it's later discovered that God removed all of his enemies, making that no longer a concern for him anymore. He eventually buys the house next to Simon's, and becomes a hobby farmer just like Simon, while continuing to do his work as a mapmaker, quickly rising up through the ranks from intern, to apprentice, and eventually journeyman.

Children

These are the known children that Aria and Trevor have after they're married. They have a total of 5 kids, although not all are named in the story.
