'''Councilman Zander''' is one of the leaders, and a chief member of the city council, for the city of [[Donville]].  He is one of the main leaders of Donville, and a strong supporter of the mayor.  That is, until the mayor turns somewhat despotic, after which he turns and secretly begins to support [[Arthur Holland|Arthur]] and [[Dexter Dramond|Dexter]], as well as the other villagers, who seek to continue their journey in [[The Race of Offworld|the race]].  He's only a minor character in the story, but he plays an important roll in the beginning of [[Gold Rush|book 3]].
