Zander

Councilman Zander is one of the leaders, and a chief member of the city council, for the city of Donville. He is one of the main leaders of Donville, and a strong supporter of the mayor. That is, until the mayor turns somewhat despotic, after which he turns and secretly begins to support Arthur and Dexter, as well as the other villagers, who seek to continue their journey in the race. He's only a minor character in the story, but he plays an important roll in the beginning of book 3.
