Dexter Dramond is a master woodcrafter and artisan who runs a carpentry and woodcrafting business in the humble sea port town of Donville on the edge of The Reaping Sea with his business partner and best friend, Arthur Holland. Unlike his friend Arthur, Dexter tends to be the hot head of the friendship and, while he does become saved later on, he starts out unsaved, even though he does very happily tolerate his best friend's faith. Dexter also tends to be a bit of a fighter, partially due to his rambunctious personality, and partially due to the self defense training that his father forced him to take. Some of his training included Krav Maga, and several other martial arts forms. Dexter is also very much a "Tell it like it is" kinda guy, which is the polar opposite of his more diplomatic best friend, who prefers to use the feather approach to Dexter's "hammer" when interacting with others. Dexter, unlike Arthur, is a 3rd generational, and thus can't participate in the race. However, due to his friendship with Arthur, he is willing to go wherever his best friend goes, even back out onto the race course, even if he's not actually allowed to be a participant in the race.
