Neranago Island is a small, uninhabited, rocky island created by geological uplift that is located in the northern quarter of the Great Sea and is used as one of James Remiru's secret resupply bases, set aside years earlier, which is part of a connected network of other, similar islands that he's stockpiled with essential supplies in anticipation of the day that he can escape from Manwan Despon and find freedom for himself and his crew in the employ of the Kingdom of Grootwand on the western shore. This island is the first of three island stops performed by Remiru, which is followed by Macaman Island and Meriter Island. After that they continue on with no further stops to reach Grootwand.
