The '''Ambassadorial Ball''' is an event, held several times a year, and sometimes on special occasions, whenever it is politically expedient, where groups from all across the galaxy, but most especially the various alien ambassadors living in the [[Ambassadorial Towers]] meet to rub shoulders and undertake politics, while enjoying themselves at a formal party. And, despite seeming innocent and fun, the ball is anything but that, being filled to the gills with intrigue, politics, backstabbing (sometimes literally), and more.
