Caesar

Caesar is a horse belonging to Simon who initially joined his team after being first captured from a group of bandit outlaws, and then later gifted to his team to aid them on their journey.

General Info

Caesar is a male horse from a local breed of horses native to the planet of Offworld that is very similar in many ways to a typical Quarter Horse, including size, coloration and other physical traits. Just like the Quarter Horse, while they are not the fastest horses, they are sturdy and reliable, and very dependable. Caesar is the oldest of the horses and is the team's natural leader, even though Bellimeir is much larger and stronger than he is. This is because Bellimeir respects Caesar and defers to his experience and leadership of the other horses, including Trick and Peddle, the team's two pack horses. He's chosen by Simon shortly after they were gifted to his team and Simon rides him for close to half a year before Caesar becomes seriously ill. Learning from Fallon that Caesar has a disease that is both degenerative and fatal, Simon chooses to put him down on the way to Bremen Te Barro, in an act of mercy, after which he switches to Tiny as his primary horse. Even so, the loss of Caesar is a crushing blow to Simon who cares deeply for all his animals and treats them like family. Ceasar's age is unknown, but Simon believes him to be about 25 years old.
