The Ambassadorial Ball is an event, held several times a year, and sometimes on special occasions, whenever it is politically expedient, where groups from all across the galaxy, but most especially the various alien ambassadors living in the Ambassadorial Towers, meet to rub shoulders and talk politics, while enjoying themselves at a formal party. And, despite seeming innocent and fun, the ball is anything but that, being filled to the gills with intrigue, politics, backstabbing (sometimes literally), and more. The last Ambassadorial Ball was held during the events of Destiny's Mission, just prior to the fall of the UGW. The custom of the ball was later resurrected during the time of the ASW, but that later celebration was much more subdued and less grand as the one held regularly on Sebius.
