Beckoning stone

A beckoning stone is an energized piece of crystal, given to select individuals in the Milky Way galaxy, as a means of summoning certain among the Benoi whenever either their services, or their attention, was needed. The only person known to have used such a stone is Shanomar, although it is implied that others have used them before as well. The stones themselves, while they exist within a material dimension, are actually multi-dimensional, meaning they exist simultaneously across multiple dimensions, timelines, and worlds. As such, nobody is exactly sure how many of the stones exist, or if all of the stones that are known are actually the same stone existing in multiple places at the same time.

To use a stone, one merely needs to think of the person they wish to speak with, and will them to answer the call. The catch to that is, the stone only calls out to multi-dimensional beings, such as the Benoi. Beings of "dead energy", or those who are not multi-dimensional, or do not have a connection with the multiverse itself, cannot be summoned by the stone, as it only seeks out and speaks with multi-dimensional beings like itself. The stones also will not allow themselves to be found by anyone, mortal or immortal, dimensional or multi-dimensional, if their heart is evil. Only one of pure heart, or pure motives, can find the stones and use them. This is by design to prevent them from being used for evil, and nefarious purposes.

Nobody is quite sure who originally created the stones, but some people have theorized that, just like the Forges, they were (or it was) created by the Weavers to summon their creations, such as the Benoi, with relative ease while preventing the evil Murg from being able to find, and exploit the stones for their own evil purposes.
