Name: Drod
Occupation: Monk
Gender: Male
Alliances: Akurakim/Yettish/Yib

Drod is a servant of the Yettishian Keld headmaster named Hector, and also a secret member of the Akurakim, having been assigned to Hector by his superiors to watch over and protect him from harm, due to Hector's love of antiquities, which has drawn both the attention, and the ire, of the Juinah mafia, which has subsequently put him in grave danger on many occasions. Hence this is why Drod was assigned to protect him as his secretive bodyguard, and personal assistant who is ready to serve his Headmaster in whatever tasks may be asked of him. And, although Hector doesn't know that Drod is Akurakim at first, once he discovers this, the deep friendship between the two men grows exponentially more.

As a fighting monk, Drod is eventually chosen by the Weaver's Forge that he had Hector are studying, and later protect. Unlike the other two Forge hosts, Drod does not choose to name his Forge as he sees it as a weapon, and a tool (despite its intelligence) and thus feels no need to give it a name, or personalize his interactions with it. Drod's highly advanced fighting abilities prove to be hugely useful on several occasions where he engages Murg annihilation forces, and comes away victorious. He later joins Rodney Evans and Jalon on an empty planet where they go head to head with the Murg Forge users. However, after a brief three on three battle against the dark Forge users, one that ultimately falls to the favor of the Weaver's Forge users, the fight switches to a 3 on 1 engagement with Drod completely soloing the fight against the three Murg Forge users as Rodney and Jalon stand back and observe, as they are no longer needed to continue the fight, allowing them to be free to be used elsewhere if needed.

Eventually the battle falls in the favor of the Weavers, who defeat the Murg through crafty stratagem that involves the arrival of Azom and his Benoi warriors, which forces the Murg to surrender the fight and then agree to leave, and take their Forges, and other forces with them. Having been freed from the duty of a Forge wielder, Drod returns to the Keld monastery where he resumes his service to Hector, who works to restore the name of the Akurakim within the Keld order.
