Forlorian

The fortified city of Forlorian is the capital of the kingdom of Venodor, and the chief residence of Queen Narcella, it's ruler, who lives in the central defensive structure known as The White Castle. Forlorian is a city built on a small hill and made up of numerous tiered walls and defenses, all of which surround a tall, formidable castle. It is conveniently located along the southern shore of The King's River and boasts a powerful military garrison that is ready to defend the city at all costs.

The city itself is surrounded by a tall, formidable wall, and is Tudor in appearance, hearkening back to the days of old in its style, shops, Inns, and more. The only problem with the city's defenses is that the guards are on the take, despite the threat of execution from Narcella if they're caught. This is partially how Artheon is so easily able to enter the city, and rescue Simon and his fellow prisoners in the dungeon. He is also able to use this fact to capture the city later on after Narcella's death, making it the seat of his kingdom. He does, however, settle the issue of the traitorous soldiers shortly after doing so, thus firmly securing the city afterwards.
