Gin is one of several names for Humans by those within the Milky Way galaxy, and more specifically those located in Sol Space. It is sometimes indirectly used to refer to the Brayburn Society and Earthfleet as well. It is considered the proper, polite and correct name to be used when referring to those living in Sol space. For some races, however, their hatred of humans leads them to call the Gin by other names, such as Chappagi and Gicall, which are general, yet derogatory slang words of great disdain.
