Kleks

A Klek is a local bird species native to Offworld that is very closely related to the ptarmigan, and is roughly the size of an average chicken, with most adults weighting in between two and three pounds, although the average weight of most adults is around 2.5lbs. They're a relatively easy bird to catch, and make good eating for one average adult person. While the klek can be found nearly anywhere on the planet, it is most numerous in the third hextant due to the natural flatland and forested terrain in that part of the course.
