Sealed Continent

A Sealed Continent, as found on the planet of Ember, is a land mass sealed off from the rest of the planet by any number of means, the most likely of which is a simple stasis field to protect the continent, and all of its occupants, from any number of threats or dangers, or to protect the rest of the planet from them.
