Stellar Class

The Stellar is a class of defensive corvette starship built and maintained by the Brayburn Society for use by the Society Space Corps for the defense of Earth. The class consists of 16 total ships, built entirely using both borrowed, and reverse engineered (and in some cases flat out stolen) technology from the Gayik'Von, and several other species around the galaxy from which Earth was able to acquire technology. The starships themselves have almost an F1 race car appearance (sans wheels) with a blunted, spear like nose, and wide aft body. The wide aft body (includes stern and midsection) is there because the ship is built around her dual warp nacelles to provide better protection for them during combat; an idea that was given to them by the Gayik'Von, as they too employ a similar idea with their battleships.
