The Delta Riders

The Delta Riders is a upcoming novel in the Earthfleet Extended Universe that diverges from the normal "hero focused" style of the previous books, and follows a more anti-hero theme, with the crew of the Delta Star, a collection of outcasts, rebels, pirates and fighters, moving around the seedier and darker sides of the galaxy in search of answers to a growing mystery.

Sent by Grand Admiral Joel Pendleton to look into a threat that could impact Earth, and many of her allies, they must find its source, and neutralize it if possible. If they can't, then many may die. However, they will have to do it entirely on their own, and without Earth's assistance, because, if they are found to be tied to Earth in any way, it could spell great trouble for not just Earth, but many others as well. The galaxy's very future is in their somewhat questionable hands.
