The Trepedor are an avianoid race and one of The Nine Ancient Races. They are heron like in appearance and are both adept fliers and pilots, but also skilled hunters, and wise warriors, a necessary trait as their republic borders up against the Tragarian Empire. They are also very circumspect, astute, and thoughtful in all that they say and do. As such, one should not take them for granted, as they're a very skillful space faring race, and that's no small feat given their physical form. Also, just like with the G'Fondo'Nah, they possess finger like appendages near the ends of their wings that they can use to manipulate technology, objects, and so on.

The Trepedor are also a very hyper intelligent species, despite their seemingly small brains. It is not widely understood as to how such a thing is possible. However, if one were to look at the biology of the Trepedor, they would realize that this is made possible because a Trepedor actually has three brains. The first, which is located in their head, which is about the size of a muskmelon, is the primary brain, and handles sight, smell, taste, hearing and their core intelligence functions, as well as acting as a type of avionics package. Their second brain, located in the upper part of their chest, handles primary life functions, such as digestion, breathing, and such. This is very similar to how the cerebellum of the human brain works. The third brain, which sits directly below the second, and is somewhat orb shaped, and is responsible for control of all bodily muscular movements.

As the sensation of touch is spread across the entire body, rather than located in just one location, this duty is also spread out acorss the three brains. However, sensations detected by the second and third brain aren't always reported to the first brain. Most times they're handled locally, and those events are only passed up to the primary brain as needed. The primary brain only directly receives information about touch from the neck and head areas. And, even though these three brains are separate, they work together flawlessly as a team, making the mental processing capacity of a typical Trepedor equal to, or sometimes superior to the human brain. The combined mass of the three brains also adds up to roughly the same volume as a human brain.
