Nahn

Nahn is the chief ambassador for the Trepedor republic, first to the UGW and later to the ASW. He is close friends with Phyland and Finch, and has a respectful diplomatic relationship with Gray Fang of the Angalorians. Nahn is one of the rare few Trepedor who actually wear clothes as their race do not see a need to wear them, as they feel that their feathers as sufficient covering. They will, however, wear a decorative robe or cloak when the situation requires, or when great modesty is necessary, such as when they're around others who are not Trepedor. This is one of several reasons for why Nahn dresses the way he does, as he is constantly around other diplomats, members of the senate, and many others who hail from a multitude of other races from all over the galaxy, being that he's a diplomat.

Nahn is also known for wearing a pair of three toed slippers on his feet everywhere he goes. This is less to quiet the click clack of his claws on the marble floors of the places he frequents (although that is one of the reasons he wears them), and more because he finds the floors he frequents to be somewhat disgusting due to the huge number of other races that walk the hallways of both the Ambassadorial and Senatorial Towers, as well as other locations, where they leave behind dirt, oil, and sometimes even certain bodily fluids. So, rather than getting his feet soiled all the time, and having to wash them every time he goes into his office, or his residence, he wears slippers so that he can take them off at the door when he enters, and put them back on when he leaves, thus limiting the amount of dirt and other things that he tracks into his office and home, ensuring that he observes good hygiene at all times.
