Yatith

Yatith is an artificial planet in Gayik'Von space that is mutually controlled by five of the major merchant guilds of the Alpha quadrant. They use it as a hub of sorts for trade in the sector nearest to Jalc, and to some degree the entire region around it. A lot of shippers operate out of Yatith, so the parts supply business is fairly brisk. Buyers of all shapes and sizes are permitted to enter the artificial planet all they wish, but only traders who are either members of, or condoned by, the five trade guilds are allowed to sell their wares there. The exception to this is if a patron is selling to a guilds approved merchant, but not to other patrons of the artificial planet.
