Bogon

The Bogon aren't a race in their own right, so much as they're a group of races, all brought together with the singular purpose to do gladiatorial type sports events, minus the blood and death generally, as the sport is roughly equal to street fighting, with no body protection, gloves, etc. Just bare knuckles, marital arts, and brute force. Anyone who participates as a Bogon, and survives at least 20 bouts without a knockout stands the potential to make a very lucrative career out of his or her participation. And, while they primarily operate in the Gayik'Von republic as an unsanctioned sports league, there are many similar types of chapters spread out all across the galaxy. The Angalorian and Tragarian empires are also notable for their large numbers of Bogon fighters. Even the Juinah have their own form of Bogon, with their underground battle league that is far more violent, and bloody, and fatal, than normal Bogon fighting.
