Jordan Decker

Jordan Decker is an SIC special field operative and intelligence agent. He is quite often deployed with special missions outside of Sol Space to act as the intelligence arm for the mission, and to help keep fleet SIC up to speed on everything that's happening, and that they find. While there is not much history on this agent, it is known that he was deployed aboard the Sergenious during its mission to investigate the Forges in the book The Weaver's Forge. His assignment aboard the ship was as an intelligence liaison and advisor to then Captain Mike Clayton as he executed his orders from Grand Admiral Peterson.

Jordon also acted as the counterpart to the Yandian spy Loki who joined them on the mission. And, while he wasn't Loki's direct babysitter (that was Sarah's job), Jordan did keep close tabs on him throughout the mission. Eventually Jordan built a comfortable friendship with, and respect for Loki, and they remained close associates for many years afterwards. It's not certain how long Jordan remained in service of the SIC. However, given that he disappears from the narrative before the events of The Oort Perimeter, it's believed that he was either promoted out of the field, quit the service, or was killed in duty. What exactly happened to him, though, is not known, which is to be expected of most spooks like himself.
