Jump Drive

A Jump Drive is a point to point, inner-dimensional FTL drive system created and used by the Razkor to travel long distances instantaneously. The drive system, while fast, is also unstable and dangerous to use, resulting in any number of potentially catastrophic outcomes should the drive ever suffer a critical failure. The sheer danger in using it, without a firm and solid understanding of the drive system and its quantum mechanics is one of the reasons that no other race in galactic history, save perhaps Earthfleet, has even considered recreating or using its advanced capabilities. Especially after a jump drive accident lead to the downfall and destruction of the Razkor in ancient times.
