Onawaso

The Onawaso, starship designation EX-33, is a joint Society and Earthfleet experimental starship that operates as a platform, used by both groups, to test new starship technologies, including FTL, sublight, cloaking, shields and much more. Of all the experimental starships used by the Society Science Corps, it is most famous for its brief and exciting engagement with the Sergenious while acting as a testbed for a new generation of sublight engines and a next generation cloaking device. While the test was successful, and its results highly praised within Sol Space, the event led to the reprimand of its commanding officers, and their superiors, for creating an incident which was unnecessarily dangerous, as well as conducting an inner systems test without proper and prior clearance and authorization from either Earthfleet or the Society Science Corps, at one point nearly leading to the death of the Onawaso's crew, and the loss of the ship.
