Patch is a Yandian Librarian who initially meets Lars and Vlad on Sebius as part of a Nyuishian plan to provide important information to Earthfleet without anyone knowing, and then later joins the two enigmatic spies as they try to unravel the mysteries of the Crassians during the events of Empire Rising. He is a quiet and thoughtful individual, wise, and an expert in the ways and nature of the Master Database. Like most librarians, Patch is a master of martial arts, firearms and hand to hand combat, primarily because it's the sworn duty of a librarian to defend and protect their Master Database with their lives if need be. His preferred weapon is the battle staff, a long, collapsible baton that can quickly subdue an enemy without risking damage to the surrounding area; which is a great benefit as it minimizes the chances of damaging the Master Database, as well as any valuable data sources and information that may be nearby.
