Sheobaal is a high level demon within the ranks of the Alien Brotherhood and is very similar in appearance to the goddess Shiva, save for the smile as he's a very angry, hateful, bitter demon. He is blue skinned, tall, muscular and known to have a very fierce temper (some call him a "rage monster") and a bitter, dark, evil hatred for all Christians, and thus will stop at nothing to exterminate them. His direct rival is the angel Caleb, and is the direct subordinate of the demon Azazel. He first takes an interest in Simon Williams during Simon's brief time at the Reception Center, but later on he beings to shadow Simon's team throughout the course, constantly manipulating events either directly, or indirectly, in an effort to stop them and kill all of their members, especially when Simon begins leading each of the members of his team, either directly or indirectly (as in the case of Aria and Trevor), to faith in Christ. However, due to his consistent failures to do so, combined with his uncontrollable anger and rage, he's eventually betrayed by his master Azazel, and sent into punishment in Hell for a time via the orders of the Chief Director. He is later replaced by Bathremel who takes over his duties of tracking, and eventually exterminating, Simon's team.
