Sydney Jones is the weapons officer for the Sergenious shipkiller, and the ship's first officer after Eric Rogers. He is of Australian origin, and the second son of a family of five. His parents were both Inductees, brought into the Brayburn Society at a young age, and later both met, and fell in love while working in the Society labs.
