Najin is a Nyuishian general and a Red Paladin. He's also the direct successor to Shanomar and is both well known to Earthfleet, as well as Grand Admiral Joel Pendleton and Mike Clayton (the now former Grand Admiral during Najin's tenure). During the events of Dark Earth he, with the help of the Benoi, come to the aid of Pendleton in attacking Imperial Earth. Not much else is known about him, or how he came to be such great friends with Pendleton. However, it's implied that the two may have come to know each other during the events of the The Marargon Invasion, and possibly some other galactic conflicts along the way that the two of them were involved in together, and became quick friends over the course of those struggles.
