Pelk

Pelk is one of four Gayik'Von youth who befriend Captain Edmond Clayton and his crew upon their being captured by Lord Za'gard. He rescues Edmond and his crew, and then comes along with them back to his homeworld of Jalc. He, like Taria, is very brilliant, and an engineering genius, and is instrumental, along with Taria and his other friends, in the rebuilding of the Destiny and the later technological genesis of the Brayburn Society upon the return of the Destiny to Earth. He is also not only the friend of Taria, but later becomes her boyfriend, and eventually marries her. He is the great grandfather to Sevok.
