Tegmar

Tegmar is a Counselor General (ie, a minor diplomat) for the Gayik'Von. He's a good friend to Mike Clayton, and he's also a very respected diplomat within his section of Gayik'Von space. His homeworld of Trandis is a minor planet, in a minor system, within the republic, but still one that is very valuable and important to the Gayik'Von. It's also valuable to the Juinah, who have attacked it on several occasions, more as retaliation against the Gayik'Von's efforts to wipe them out, rather than any attempt to capture the planet. However, all attempts ultimately failed, causing the Juinah to eventually give up, and seek a different, much softer target. Tegmar is instrumental in Mike's efforts to unravel the mystery of the Weavers.
