Morten Weyr, sometimes referred to as the "Northern Weyr", is one of the 6 active Dragon Weyrs of Offworld, and is located near the beginning of the third hextant. It is ruled over by Weyr Master Narond, and is the home of the 1st and 2nd dragon orders. Morten Weyr is also one of the three descendants of Mongangro Weyr that were formed shortly after the great dragon rebellion and the great fall of Mongangro that occurred shortly after. Morten is later ruled over by Shuman after the death of Narond.
